Conventions are broken through the front cover to the contents page as the house style is very different and does not consist of any of the orange in the fonts that are present in the cover. However the serif font used in both causes synergy.
Also the image used on the contents page is very comical in comparison to the seriousness of image on the front cover. Representation theory applies to this as representation is not a fixed notion and as society is constantly changing and that image is becoming more accepted although it is so unusual. This picture would never have been accepted in some older or more strict society or cultures, however as the representation theory is applied, this image has been accepted which is quite ironic.
.
How this research has influenced my planning:
Due to this research I will ensure I use the same fonts and colours on the contents page as I have in the cover. This will cause synergy. I will also not use contrasting images and have the same type of representations shown throughout.

I think you could make this post proficient by really analysing the image on the contents page. Look at the sue of colour, make up and costume. Which feature does it go with? Look at the contrast of images! Representation theory would be great to apply to this.
